Anniyan (VIVEK COMEDY)

Anniyan (Aparachitidu in Telugu; Aparchit in Hindi) is a high-budget 2005 Tamil movie.It was the first Indian movie to be dubbed into French and then released worldwide in French-speaking countries. Columbia Tristar had recently acquired the French dubbing rights. The film was a mega-blockbuster playing for 240 days in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh and 150 days in Kerala.

The movie stars the actors Vikram, Prakash Raj, Sada, and Vivek. The film is directed by S. Shankar of Gentleman fame. The score and soundtrack, composed by Harris Jayaraj, was released on April 27, 2005. The motion picture took over two years to complete (2003 – 2005). The film was the most expensive Tamil feature film made of the year, costing Rs. 263,800,000. This is the first Indian movie to be dubbed into French. Columbia Tristar bought the dubbing rights for broadcast in French-speaking nations.[citation needed] Vikram described his role in Anniyan as the most difficult one of his career.
